I've been going around saying that we'll be gone Mother's Day weekend for the Proclaimers' gig. Well, we won't. Mother's Day is the next Sunday. OK, I didn't just say this once but over and over. Why on earth isn't Mother's Day on the first Sunday of May like it is supposed to be? Now I feel like a dimwit.
I'm glad we'll be home for Mother's Day, though.

Well, I've never known when Mother's Day is, except that it is a Sunday and it's sometime in May. According to Wikipedia, it's always the second Sunday, and many people say not to set out your tomato plants until after it. So, I got to learn something new today - but I will still set out my tomatoes before Mother's Day.
ReplyDeleteWell, I could have sworn it was always the first Sunday. Although now that I think about it, I should have known better as my brother's birthday is the eighth and it is sometimes on Mother's Day.
